The Summit: Marian & Jim Sinneave Centre for Youth Resilience recently opened, providing crucial community-based mental health care for young people and their families. The center incorporates the Mental Health Research 4 Kids (MHR4K) program, where researchers collaborate with families and care providers. A youth advisory council, supported by the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, plays a central role, providing perspectives to shape research and improve care. The council, comprising young people with lived mental health experiences, collaborates on research, ensuring the inclusion of diverse voices and experiences. The Summit aims to transform mental health care for youth by integrating research and community support.
